Job Title: ESG Manager (Entrepreneur Support and Growth Manager)

Responsibilities:
– Pre-Selection:
– Oversee the search efforts of the ESG team in maintaining a strong pipeline of candidates for the Nigeria office.
– Provide clear guidance and feedback to ESG Associates in their day-to-day search efforts.
– Convert highest priority prospects to candidate status quickly and drive rapid progression through the selection process.
– Conduct initial selection interviews independently and make decisions regarding candidate outcomes.
– Facilitate subsequent parts of the selection process, particularly for high-priority candidates and/or with VIP mentors.
– Guide and provide input to ESG Associates in the development of high-quality reports to support the selection process.
– Ensure successful delivery of quarterly local selection panels in Lagos and support candidates at international selection panels.
– Synthesize and deliver sensitive feedback to candidates.
– Work closely with the Managing Director to develop strategies for achieving mentor portfolio objectives in Nigeria.
– Identify, attract, retain, and maximize engagement within the target mentor community.

– Directly own and manage ‘Outlier’ Entrepreneur accounts.
– Build trust and relationships with Entrepreneurs and their next level management.
– Recommend strategic actions and supporting services to Entrepreneurs based on knowledge of local and global mentor and service portfolios.
– Build and manage relationships with ESG leads in other markets and globally for maximizing outcomes and impact.
– Guide the development of service roadmaps for new Entrepreneurs, incorporating their strategic and operational goals, service offerings, feedback from the selection process, and mentor expertise/talent.
– Ensure rapid, responsive, and professional service delivery.
– Facilitate advisory board meetings between mentors and Entrepreneurs and monitor impact and engagement.
– Collaborate with the Managing Director to build a complementary local service offering for Entrepreneurs in Nigeria, considering their needs and feedback.
