SCHOLARSHIP OVERVIEW

In order to encourage international students to pursue a PhD in computational near-surface geophysics at ETH Zurich, the university offers the ETH Zurich International Scholarship program.

ETH Zurich International Scholarships

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

The applicants must fulfill each of the requirements below in order to be eligible for ETH Zurich International Scholarships:

  • International or domestic applicants are required.
  • Candidates should be highly interested in numerical forward modeling and inversion, and preferably have experience in these fields. Additionally, it is intended to conduct a small amount of fieldwork and laboratory research as part of both programs.

Eligible Countries: All nationalities are eligible for this ETH Zurich International Scholarship.

Eligible Course or Subjects:PhD degree in computational near-surface geophysics.

Admission Requirements: Applicants should hold a Master’s degree in  geophysics, physics,  mathematics, or  electrical engineering.

Language Requirement:  Students must have excellent proficiency or working languages in our group are English and German
