BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE FIAS INTERNATIONAL FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM

The RFIEA Foundation is pleased to announce the availability of 10-month scholarships for researchers from all nations. Applications for the FIAS International Fellowship Program for the academic year 2022/2023 are now available.
Four fellowships are available in Aix-Marseille, three in the Loire Valley (Orléans-Tours), ten in Lyon, three in Montpellier, four in Nantes, and thirteen in Paris.
The appeal is accessible to all disciplines and research fields in the social sciences and humanities (SSH). Other sciences and arts research initiatives having a strong contact and dialogue with the SSH are also eligible.
Benefit of the Scholarship: All IAS have agreed on basic standards, which include a monthly living allowance of 2,700€, social security coverage, housing, a research and training budget, and travel expense coverage.
Applicants must meet all of the following criteria to be considered for FIAS International Fellowship Program:
- FIAS grants scholarships to outstanding researchers at all stages of their careers, from postdocs to senior scholars.
At the time of application, a PhD plus two years of research experience is the minimal requirement.
Scholars having a Master’s degree and 6 years of full-time research experience following graduation will be granted an exception (PhD training will not be considered in the calculation of experience).
Eligible Countries: Researchers from any country are eligible to apply for the FIAS International Fellowship Program.
Eligible Course or Subjects: Eligible Courses / Subjects: All fields in the Humanities and Social Sciences are eligible for the six IAS.
